Scheduled office hours include: Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Clover Hill Library; Tuesday, Oct. 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at Central Library; Thursday, Oct. 22 from 4-6 p.m. at LaPrade Library; Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Ettrick-Matoaca Library; and Thursday, Oct. 29 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at North Courthouse Road Library.

According to Rachel Chieppa, planning manager for comprehensive planning and research at the county Planning Department, staff will be present at the office hours to answer resident questions about the PlanMod project. Feedback can be submitted in multiple formats: handwritten comments on information boards at libraries, digital submissions through an interactive StoryMap tool available on the county website, or through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, or individual appointments with planning staff.

The comprehensive plan update addresses changes to land use, transportation, public facilities, housing, and implementation strategies. The proposed plan includes residential density reductions in many areas and strategies to address housing affordability. Planning staff has indicated the county is working toward adopting the updated comprehensive plan by year end 2026.
