Officers were dispatched to the 8800 block of Chester Forest Lane on November 1 at approximately 1:50 a.m. for a report of gunshots. While responding, additional callers reported that a person had been struck by a truck. Arturo Luna-Ortiz, 19, of Chesterfield, was identified as the victim. He was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries. A 12-year-old boy was also injured in the incident.
Police identified Jorvin Gonzalez Del Cid, 19, of Chesterfield, as the driver of the truck that struck Luna-Ortiz.
