Shamin Hotels has advanced construction on The Mondelle, a $160 million full-service hotel and conference center rising at Springline at District 60, the $1 billion mixed-use development in northeastern Chesterfield at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and Chippenham Parkway.
The 11-story Hilton Richmond The Mondelle will feature 270 guest rooms and more than 30,000 square feet of premium meeting space, including a 12,600-square-foot grand ballroom. The property will include a signature Italian restaurant with outdoor dining overlooking Celebration Park, a second-floor executive meeting center with a beer garden, an Asian cuisine rooftop restaurant with cocktail bar, and an infinity pool with views of downtown Richmond. The project is expected to open in summer 2028.
The Mondelle marks the first full-service hotel and conference center to be constructed in the Richmond region since 2009. Shamin Hotels CEO Neil Amin has stated the vision is to "build the best Hilton hotel in the country," positioning the venue to attract major conventions and corporate events.
